The CCE of Montevideo (Uruguay) presents the bipersonal exhibition of artists Irene de Andrés and Alán Carrasco. The exhibition will be open to the public from May 18.

With Un horizonte que se pierde de vista [A horizon that is disappearing from sight], the artists reconstruct a historical episode that took place in the most turbulent years of the 20th century, connecting Spain and Uruguay through anti-fascist solidarity. The 5,200 nautical miles that separate both regions are configured here as a non-space that works as a barrier and as a connecting element at the same time, reinforcing the idea of the Atlantic route as a bidirectional path.
